Cookie Policy
Effective date: 30 September 2026 · Version: 1.0 · Applies to users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland
1. General Provisions
This Cookie Policy explains how the Doctor in Poland website (the “Website”) uses cookies and similar technologies. It has been issued pursuant to Article 399 of the Polish Act of 12 July 2024 – Electronic Communications Law (implementing Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
The operator of the Website and the controller of personal data processed by means of cookies is Agencja Diagnostyki Medycznej Prosta Spółka Akcyjna (“ADM P.S.A.”), ul. Kaliny Jędrusik 9 lok. 2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your terminal equipment (computer, tablet, smartphone) by your web browser when you visit a website. They are read on subsequent visits and allow, among other things, the website to function correctly, to remember your settings and to compile statistics. Similar technologies include local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), pixels and scripts; in this Policy, all such technologies are jointly referred to as “cookies”.
We use session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain on your device for the period specified in their parameters or until you delete them. The Website uses first-party cookies; third-party cookies are placed only in connection with the services listed in section 4.
3. Legal Basis and Consent
Strictly necessary (functional) cookies are used without your consent, as their use is necessary to provide the service you explicitly requested, to transmit communications and to ensure security (Article 399(3) of the Electronic Communications Law; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
All other cookies, in particular statistics cookies, are placed only after you have given your prior, voluntary and informed consent via the consent banner (Article 399(1) of the Electronic Communications Law; Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Refusing or withdrawing consent does not restrict access to the Website’s content. The Website does not use marketing or advertising profiling cookies.
